files off an FTP site or receive .shn disks, there are these funny md5 things -- what is that all about?</b></div> <div> <B>A: </b>md5's are just a way for you to check to make sure you got an entire file exactly as it appeared originally.  An MD5 will alert you to any defects in any files, and will also let you know if all the files have come back in tact.  </div> <div> <B>Q: I have the .shn
